Daxon was invited to Vermilion to spare for Hudson’s high school curling team, where the two met in person for the first time. He quickly fit in, demonstrating strong skill and confidence on the ice. Throughout the games, Daxon supported Hudson with strategy and decision-making, impressing him with his composure and teamwork. By the end of the event, Hudson selected Daxon to join his team as third for the 2026–2027 competitive curling season.
